This morning, me and my family had to leave early to go to the hospital. We are enrolled in a research protocol on cardiac defects. Both of my sons have it, my wife and her mother have it and my wife’s grand-mother also had it. For an anomaly that isn’t suppose to be genetic … When they operated my youngest son last summer, they asked us if we would be interested in participating to the research protocol and we said yes.
